It was February 12, 2014, Wednesday when I had a problem with one of my colony, the hive had produced swarm cells and our alternative was to split the hives, to have another colony. It was Sunday , February 16, 2014 when we split the hive and put the frame with a queen cell on a nuc box along with it was a frame full of honey and pollen which serve as food supply for the bees on the nuc box. On the morning of February 17, 2014 I shook some bees into the nucbox to add some worker bees and drones. It was March 2, 2014, Sunday the bees as I describe them were aggressive, a worker bee stung me while checking and as I go through the bees, I had already saw a queen and the hive is now doing well, as an amateur beekeeper I felt happy to see the queen along with the workers that fed her royal jelly when she was still a larvae. Everyday is a learning experience, the bees thought me well to know who they are and I'm still on the urge of knowing them better. If there is one thing I can share was this quote "In learning... failure, sacrifice and pain is a part of it and in surpassing those a better person emerged wiser yet happy"
