I was still when I wrote this poem (psalm 46:10, Exodus 14:13, 2 Chronicles 20:17) as I listen and write (Psalm 45:1. 1 Chronicles 28:19, Habakkuk 2:2) this poem...
I Am Still
I am still
Wind, fire and water
a red candle and a red cup filled with water
Signs and symbols
A life changing experience
Oh Holy Spirit
I thank Thee for these signs and wonders
Thou give me grace
Gifts and wonders
Gifts from heaven
A way to the spiritual realm
Faith, hope and love
virtues that define me now
Oh Blood of Jesus
that save me from sins
Oh rivers of running water that flows in me now
I am in such an awe to pray and converse with Thee
Please open all the spiritual senses
As I pursue the greater gifts
Oh Father, I know you through Thy Son Jesus Christ
And being with the Holy Spirit is knowing more of Thee
How good art Thee
How great Thy love
I am still
I Am Still
I am still
Wind, fire and water
a red candle and a red cup filled with water
Signs and symbols
A life changing experience
Oh Holy Spirit
I thank Thee for these signs and wonders
Thou give me grace
Gifts and wonders
Gifts from heaven
A way to the spiritual realm
Faith, hope and love
virtues that define me now
Oh Blood of Jesus
that save me from sins
Oh rivers of running water that flows in me now
I am in such an awe to pray and converse with Thee
Please open all the spiritual senses
As I pursue the greater gifts
Oh Father, I know you through Thy Son Jesus Christ
And being with the Holy Spirit is knowing more of Thee
How good art Thee
How great Thy love
I am still
